Suicide sucks, but what really sucks is that when a individual takes his or her own life; who they were and what they meant to their loved ones, seem to be lost in the LABEL/TITLE of suicide.

So, let's chat!

Brittany Rebecca Helton was born on July 3, 1991 and was the bright sunshine of her parents Ron and Christy Helton’s life and so many others. There was never a day that would go by that she wouldn’t find a way to make everyone around her smile or laugh. She was a very talented writer and strived to do her best at whatever activity she was involved in. Don’t misunderstand us, because there were moments of battles over a very messy bedroom or shoes left in front of the door. However, Brittany to everyone was the fun-loving, freckle faced girl who would do the "Hammer Time Dance" with her cousin Sara, wear mismatched socks, or befriend someone sitting alone.

Brittany, did not like labels, and would not want us to focus on her moment of darkness, but instead help others see life is worth living.

So, the Bheltz Foundation is dedicated to educating communities on suicide prevention, but most of all, that each individual had a life and are not just a statistic or label.

Can you imagine if we all would just stop and ask the simple question of, "ARE YOU ALL RIGHT", may help to change the world one individual at a time.

PLEASE IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS SUFFERING FROM DEPRESSION OR CONTEMPLATING SUICIDE CALL 1 (800) 273-TALK, there is someone who is willing 24/7 to help you through your darkest of times.

The Monster March

I am sure we have all heard the saying, "sticks and stones my break my bones, but names will never hurt me"? However, this is far from the truth, because words do hurt and are more powerful than we realize! So, please choose your words wisely, because you just never know when those words you use as daggers, will be the last ones a individual who is contemplating suicide hears.
